Widgets for your blog / site

There are some easy to use widgets on SPhred that you might like to use on your blog / site.
You just need to grab the single line script tag / code given along with each widget and put it inside your html code and you are done.

But if you are feeling a little adventurous and have some time in hand then grab the urls specified in the widget tag code and change the .js part to .xml.
Then you will have the raw xml in your hand to play with.
For example, Recent Tags widget has the url
http://www.sphred.com/widgets/recent_tags.js ,
change this to
http://www.sphred.com/widgets/recent_tags.xml and do what ever you like.

	What is "Random Picks" widget? This widget shows sites / startups picked up randomly from the SPhred database irrespective of their submission date, number of SPhreds (i.e. votes) they received or their ranking at any point of time. This widget is updated once in every 30 minutes. Now the rational thinkers might say But WTF I want to see some Random Sites? ;) Because: 1. You might be able to see some useful service that might have escaped your kind attention in the past. 2.
